The MuCell® technology

This technology is a physical foaming process. A homogeneous compound is formed by enriching the plastic melts with nitrogen in the injection units. During the injection the gas expands in the tool and forms a microcellular structure in the plastic parts.

The result is filigree moulded parts with wall thicknesses less than 1 mm, without loss of quality or stability. This enables weight savings for components of between 6 and 15%.
